How I handle your information.

Vitae Arete is operated by Jason Fee, MS, RDN, LDN ("I," "me," "my"). This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect from visitors to vitaearete.com, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Pre-launch note. Paid clinical consultations begin May 2026. Until then, the site collects only waitlist, newsletter, contact, and calculator-capture information. It does not process protected health information (PHI) and is not a HIPAA-covered service.

Information I Collect

Information you provide directly

Waitlist & contact forms: name, email, primary interest, and any details you choose to share.
Newsletter: email address.
Calculator email capture: email address plus the non-identifying goal type and protein target calculated in your session.
Discovery-call scheduling: handled by Calendly; the information you share there is governed by Calendly's privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Analytics: Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous data about your visit — pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), device type, and referring source. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
Performance/security logs: Netlify, my hosting provider, keeps standard access logs for security and abuse prevention.

How I Use This Information

To respond to inquiries, contact you when clinical booking opens, and fulfill guide requests.
To send the newsletter or calculator follow-up email — only if you opted in.
To understand how the site is used in aggregate, so I can improve content and usability.
To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.

I do not sell your information. I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Third-Party Services

The site uses a small number of vetted third parties. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes:

Netlify — hosting and form processing. Policy

Cookies & Tracking

The site uses a minimal set of cookies, primarily from Google Analytics, to distinguish unique visitors and measure engagement. You can disable cookies in your browser or install a GA opt-out extension; the site will continue to function.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may request to:

Know what information I hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your information, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

Data Retention

Waitlist and contact submissions are retained until you request deletion or a reasonable period following the purpose for which you provided them. Analytics data is retained per Google's default settings (currently 14 months).

Children's Privacy

The site is not directed to children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
