Nutrition advice you can defend.
I'm a registered dietitian in hospital oncology and a researcher on the national dietitian workforce. Bring me in when a nutrition decision has to hold up, whether that is a staffing case in front of finance or a product claim in front of the evidence.
Work is scoped to the question. Some engagements are a single review; others run as a monthly advisory retainer.
Health systems, companies and brands, and the people who lead them.
The question decides the shape of the work. These are the kinds of questions I take on.
Dietitian staffing and clinical nutrition strategy
I help clinical and finance leaders size dietitian coverage against patient need and cost, using your own data and public sources anyone on the committee can check.
- Dietitian staffing and workload models
- Malnutrition identification and documentation programs
- Cost and return models for nutrition services, built on your own data
- Executive and board briefs on the dietitian workforce and reimbursement
Nutrition guidance for products, content and teams
A clinical dietitian's read on what you are making or saying, before your customers or the experts get to it.
- Evidence reviews of nutrition and product claims
- Accuracy review of educational content, packaging copy and campaigns
- Product direction from a clinical point of view
- Advisory calls for teams working through a nutrition question
Performance nutrition for the people running things
Practical nutrition for demanding schedules, heavy travel and long days, from one-to-one sessions to a briefing for a leadership team.
- One-to-one nutrition consulting by telehealth
- Leadership briefings on energy, focus and metabolic health
- Plain answers on GLP-1 medications for leaders weighing them
- Lab-informed planning where it adds something
Advisory work for organizations is not limited by state. One-to-one clinical nutrition care is available in the states where I am licensed to provide it.
A fixed scope, a fixed fee, and work you can check.
A short first call
We talk through the question, what a useful answer would look like, and whether I am the right person for it.
A written scope
You get a one-page scope with the question, the deliverable, the timeline and the fee, agreed before any work starts.
Sourced and dated
Every figure in a deliverable carries its source and its year, so anyone reviewing it can verify it.
Confidential by default
I sign a mutual NDA when an engagement needs one and never name an organization as a client without its written consent. Any paid relationship is disclosed in anything I publish on the subject.
Before the first call.
Yes. Advisory work for organizations is consulting, not clinical care, so it is not limited to the states where I hold a license. One-to-one clinical nutrition care is.
Each project has a fixed fee, agreed in a written scope before any work starts. Ongoing advisory work is billed as a monthly retainer.
Usually a written brief, a model or a review, sized to the decision it supports, with every number sourced and dated.
Tell me about the question.
A few details help me come to the first call prepared. I read every note myself and reply within two business days.
