Biomarker Panels & Lab Testing

Evidence over opinion,
starts with data.

Comprehensive biomarker panels ordered by Jason — a licensed clinical dietitian — through his Rupa Health / Fullscript practitioner portal. You don't order these yourself; that's by design. Pass-through pricing. Your labs, your data, my interpretation in your session.

How Lab Ordering Actually Works

I order your labs. You don't.

These are clinician-ordered panels — not direct-to-consumer kits. You can't click "buy" and check out. That's intentional: each panel is individualized to your medications, history, and goals before it's drawn. Here's the actual flow:

01
You book any session

Discovery Call (free, optional), single paid consult, or a clinical membership — whichever fits. All paths trigger the lab workflow.

02
I order the panel

After reviewing your intake, I send the order through Fullscript / Rupa under my practitioner credentials — customized for you.

03
You pay & get drawn

Fullscript emails you a secure link to pay the pass-through lab fee, then you visit any Quest or LabCorp near you. HSA/FSA accepted.

04
Results come to me first

I review your results before your session so we walk into your appointment with interpretation ready — not raw numbers.

Why this matters: A panel built around someone on tirzepatide looks different than one for an executive optimizing cognitive performance. A direct-to-consumer kit doesn't know the difference. Clinician-ordered labs do.

Why Dietitian-Ordered Labs

Your primary care doctor is a generalist. Your dietitian is a specialist.

A standard annual physical captures the minimum panel an insurer will pay for — usually a lipid, A1C, basic metabolic, and TSH. That's not enough to plan clinical nutrition care for a GLP-1 patient, an executive optimizing performance, or a client working through metabolic dysfunction.

The panels here are built from the clinical literature and from years ordering labs inside a hospital system. They're designed to answer the questions your nutrition plan actually needs answered — insulin resistance, lean-mass risk, inflammatory load, micronutrient sufficiency, thyroid sufficiency, hormonal context, cardiovascular risk beyond cholesterol.

Scope note: Under Florida Statute §468, Part X, a licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) can order laboratory tests for nutritional assessment. For tests requiring physician oversight, orders are reviewed by the Rupa Health / Fullscript ordering-physician network at no additional cost. Your clinical interpretation is handled by Jason directly as part of your nutrition engagement.
The Panels

Three tiers. One evidence base.

Every panel below is ordered by me through my Rupa Health / Fullscript practitioner portal after we connect — you can't self-checkout. Click "Request this panel" and pick how you want to engage: free Discovery Call, single paid consult, or a clinical membership (labs included). I'll send the secure ordering link from Fullscript once we've reviewed your intake. Draw at any Quest or LabCorp. Results route directly to me before your consult.

Male Hormone Comprehensive

$301pass-through · 21 tests, 82 biomarkers

Why blood, not DUTCH: Standard immunoassay E2 misreads male estradiol by 30–50% in the low-male range. The sensitive LC-MS/MS assay is the only test endocrinologists trust for male E2 and is the foundation of the male panel above. Saliva and urine hormone testing have their place but are not the clinical gold standard for hormone-replacement decisions or treatment-response monitoring — serum is. If you have a clinical reason to add DUTCH (estrogen metabolism mapping for cancer-recurrence context, for instance), it’s available as a clinical-indication add-on.
Wearables & Continuous Monitoring

Pair the data with your daily reality.

A single biomarker panel is a snapshot. A wearable closes the loop — HRV, sleep architecture, glucose response, recovery scores. I curate practitioner-discounted devices through my Fullscript dispensary so clients can access them at meaningful savings vs. retail.

FAQ

Common questions, honest answers

Yes. Florida Statute Chapter 468, Part X, permits licensed Dietitian/Nutritionists (LDN) to order laboratory tests for nutritional assessment within the scope of medical nutrition therapy. Where a specific test requires physician oversight, it is routed through the Rupa Health / Fullscript ordering-physician network at no extra cost to the patient.

After you request a panel, I send you a secure ordering link through my Fullscript / Rupa Health practitioner portal. You complete the order, pay Rupa directly (pass-through pricing), and have your blood drawn at any Quest or LabCorp location near you. Results route directly to me; I review them and walk you through interpretation in your clinical session.

Panels range from approximately $128 for the GLP-1 Metabolic Baseline to $193 for the Executive Metabolic & Cardiovascular panel, with the Lifestyle Medicine Foundation at approximately $175. Validated add-ons (APOE, celiac, calprotectin) are available at additional cost on clinical indication. All lab fees are billed directly by Rupa/Fullscript at transparent pass-through pricing; no markup from Vitae Arete. HSA/FSA generally applies.

Biomarker panels are designed as part of the clinical nutrition engagement — the value is in my interpretation of the results in context of your nutrition plan. Ordering a panel typically precedes or is bundled with a consultation. Stand-alone lab ordering without a consultation isn't offered.

Upload them in your intake form. If your existing labs cover the relevant markers, you may not need additional testing. If they're missing specific markers I consider essential for your plan, I'll recommend a targeted add-on rather than a full panel.

Generally no. Labs ordered through the Rupa Health / Fullscript network are billed at transparent cash-pay pricing (usually significantly less than insurance-billed retail labs). HSA and FSA funds typically apply. I do not bill insurance directly for labs.

Standard panels (metabolic, lipid, thyroid, CBC, vitamin status) typically return within 2–5 business days of the draw. Validated add-ons that route through specialty labs (e.g., APOE genotyping, hormone panels run physician-collaboratively) may take longer — I'll tell you the expected timing when you place the order.

No. Lab fees are pass-through — you pay Rupa / Fullscript directly, not Vitae Arete. This keeps your consultation fee transparent and gives you ownership of your lab data independent of our engagement.
